As mentioned here, Land and Colors was participating in one of the biggest photography events in Geneva area called “Confrontations Gessiennes de la Photographie”. We were invited to show our photo series “Iceland: One Place Two Visions” and few extra photographs. Together we presented 35 color and black and white prints, which can now be seen and purchased from Shop section on our website.
I have to say that all three days during which the event took place were very exciting and we both I and Marek had a chance to exchange ideas about photography and we also got to learn a lot of new things. Together with us there were 50 photographers from different parts of France and Switzerland. I have to say that the festival exceeded my all my expectation and I have to thank to organizations for absolutely amazing organization and all the their work and support.
There were almost 2000 visitors over the three days and it was very rewording to talk to some of them (I hope that me trying to speak French did not scare them too much) and listen to their comments. Thank you all the people who visited our show and found our work interesting and special thanks to those who were so kind and bought our photographs.
Next Confrontations will take place in two years from now, so we will have to work hard to get another chance to participate again:)
